Friendly competition always brings out the best in our middle schoolers – especially when sports are involved! Whether they are cheering on teammates or celebrating a big play, the smiles say it all. Moments like these make gym class and school activities even more exciting and memorable.
Friday was extra special as we celebrated the end of Staff Appreciation Week and Windsor Schools’ 35th Anniversary with a staff and student BBQ! To make the day even more meaningful, our high schoolers helped cook and serve the food, showing teamwork and pride while giving back to the staff who support them every day. It was a perfect way to celebrate 35 years of learning, growth, and the strong community that makes Windsor so special 🙂
Nothing beats taking group time outside on a beautiful day! Stepping out of the classroom and into nature gives our students the chance to recharge, connect, and enjoy learning in a refreshing new environment.
From singing along to exploring new instruments, music class is always full of energy and excitement! Students are having fun expressing themselves, building confidence, and making every less a little louder and brighter.
We are proud to share an exciting update on Ray Austin, our VFW NJ State Teacher of the Year! At the Loyalty Day Ceremony, he was presented with two plaques in recognition of his achievement, made even more meaningful by a heartfelt speech from Gene Hoffman, who shared how Windsor impacted his son’s journey. As Ray put it, “It was an honor to represent both Windsor and the VFW as the State Teacher of the Year.”
Cinco de Mayo brought the energy as students came ready to celebrate! With it also being Teacher Appreciation Week, we combined the fun by treating our amazing staff to a nacho bar during lunch – a small thank you for all they do each day.
The force was strong today as we celebrated Star Wars Day in style! Students got creative making their very own lightsabers, bringing a little extra excitement and imagination into the school day.
It is officially May, and the smiles are still going strong! A big part of that joy comes from fun moments like the Level 3 reward, where hard work truly pays off. Celebrations like these keep our students motivated and excited every step of the way.
