Month: October 2018

A Spooktacular Day

Everyone joined in the fun this Halloween. We had a walking lemonade stand, living storybook characters, superheroes of all sizes, a famous artist and many more. It was a great day for a parade and classroom celebrations. Happy Halloween!

Windsor Wears Pink

Windsor staff and students wore pink and held a dress down day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.  This annual, international health campaign helps to educate people about the importance of early screening and raises funds for research into the cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure of breast cancer. Thank you so much to everyone who participated!

Monster Bash is a Huge Success

Our first monster bash was awesome! Creative costumes, yummy treats, pumpkin painting, a mummy wrapping contest, and dancing kept everyone entertained. The team of student and staff party planners thought of everything and made it a fun event for all.

Side by Side in the Wilderness

We split up into groups and learned many valuable skills at the Weis Center.  It was a beautiful day for team building activities and survival training.  The crisp, cool air felt amazing as we navigated through the challenges together.

Soccer Season is Upon Us

Some of our students enjoyed playing soccer at a beautiful sports complex this week. Providing young adults with opportunities to exercise and work together as a team is very important to us.

Windsor Stands Up to Bullying

We kicked off our Week of Respect at Windsor with an assembly called Box Out Bullying.  We are joining together with schools across NJ to teach our students to respect themselves and others. To learn more about this effort, please go to stompoutbullying.org.
