We enjoyed a whole bunch of fun and engaging winter-themed activities this week. Everyone had a chance to try something new and socialize with their peers throughout the day. This tradition started out as a suggestion from one of our student council members three years ago and has become a popular annual celebration.
Ugly sweaters have become very popular over the past few years. While wearing one for spirit day is very typical, creating one for a contest is a whole different story. Our oldest students were challenged to design an ugly sweater and write an ad that would persuade people to buy it. They were very excited about this fun activity and they got very creative.
Our students enjoy participating in a variety of sports activities throughout the year. Exercise is an important part of the weekly schedule and we provide many opportunities for everyone to get moving as often as possible.
