Our first parent seminar of the school year was presented by Frank Picone, a certified, advanced trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach® which was created by Howard Glasser, MA. He discussed the importance of creating healthy relationships and recognizing that everyone has inherent greatness. “When we recognize a child’s strengths and focus on positive, everyday occurrences, rather than energizing negativity, we are creating an environment in which children can thrive”. It was a very informative evening and we received positive feedback from those who attended.
The skills and strategies that our students learn in speech, counseling, and occupational therapy impact their lives in so many ways. It takes time, patience, and perseverance, but it’s well worth the effort.
Everyone joined in the fun this Halloween. We had a walking lemonade stand, living storybook characters, superheroes of all sizes, a famous artist and many more. It was a great day for a parade and classroom celebrations. Happy Halloween!
Windsor staff and students wore pink and held a dress down day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. This annual, international health campaign helps to educate people about the importance of early screening and raises funds for research into the cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure of breast cancer. Thank you so much to everyone who participated!
We came together for an enjoyable evening of glow in the dark activities, archery, magic, slime making and more. It was nice to see so many of our families having fun with one another.
There was something for everyone to enjoy at our fall field day. The weather was amazing and we had a great time together.

All focus was on the dogs during our first session of the PAWS program. It was so nice to see everyone again as we embarked upon another year of dogs helping our students, and our students helping dogs. As they say, it’s help on both ends of the leash!
It was so nice to see everyone back at school today! It’s going to be a wonderful year filled with new experiences and endless opportunities.
