The rain didn’t keep us from having a great time on field day. We enjoyed many different activities and definitely made the best of it.
The Spring Fling Luau was a great success. We danced, played games and socialized at this annual party. It’s always a nice way for our 6th, 7th and 8th graders to enjoy something special together.
We focused on outer space for our science fair this year. Everyone was so excited to learn all about the solar system. In addition to looking at the amazing displays, students enjoyed searching for stars in the planetarium and finding answers to the scavenger hunt questions.
We learned so many interesting facts about wild animals today! From the little pig with his wiggly tail and the cute chinchilla eating her carrot, to the hairy tarantula, it was a great assembly that kept all of us on our toes.
Students were recognized for their extraordinary efforts in science, social studies, language arts, and math at our second awards assembly of the school year. Awards were also presented for various other categories, some of which included art, music, and kindness. Congratulations to all of our award recipients!
There was something for everyone at our spring family fun night. We played beach ball volleyball, board games, minute to win it games, and a lot more. Some families stayed in one place for most of the time, while others chose to travel from room to room. Many people said it was our best one yet!
Our annual drama production was absolutely incredible. The talented cast of “The Lion King Jr.” delighted the audience with a wonderful combination of lively songs, acting, and colorful costumes. Everyone was touched by the classic story that unfolded before them. We are very proud of this show and all of the people who made it possible.
