We were so happy to see our furry friends this summer! The PAWS program has a special way of brightening everyone’s day. Even if they are just walking by, people can’t help but smile when they see wagging tails. Thank you so much to the volunteers who made it happen for us!

A Refreshing Treat
Watermelon pizza has been a huge hit in cooking class this summer! Our young chefs love choosing their favorite toppings and learning how to make a healthy snack for themselves.
Summer Memories
We kicked off the summer program with tie-dye, beach games, water beads, and kinetic sand! As the temps went higher, so did our enthusiasm. It was great to be outside in the fresh air for a while.
PAWS Returns!
During this unprecedented year, so many students asked us when they would be able to see the dogs again. We are thrilled to announce that the beloved PAWS program has made its way back to us! Windsor has partnered with the directors of PAWSÂ to provide help on both ends of the leash for the past 8 years. It was truly a pleasure to welcome the volunteers, trainers, and sweet pups back after such a long break.
A Magical Show
Mysterious rings, a slippery snake, and clever card shenanigans were just a few of the things Joe Fischer had for us in his bag of tricks. Giggles rang out and genuine smiles spread across the aisles as the audience watched a delightful magic show. We are very excited about the magic workshops we have planned for the summer!
Virtual Fun Run!
Spring is in the air! What a wonderful time of year to get outdoors! The Windsor Foundation spring fundraiser is just around the corner. Walk, run, or hike as a family to raise money for our students. Registration begins April 1st. Call 973 697-4191 ext 431 for information.
A Sea of Green
Our school spirit reached an all-time high this week! Even Mia, one of our pups, sported a green bandana this St. Patrick’s day. It was great to see so much enthusiasm.
A Windsor Winterfest!
We decided to celebrate the season with Winter Festival Days! The penguin slide has been a very popular attraction. Whether gliding on their bellies or scooting along, it’s fun to imagine what it’s like to be a penguin. We played games, danced, built snowmen, and made cute gnomes together.
Ice Artist Performs at Windsor
It’s been a very long winter, so taking a break to watch ice sculptor Jimmy Chiappa perform for us was an extra-special surprise. Starting with three large blocks of ice, he used a variety of tools to transform them into beautiful works of art. Everyone was delighted to see the snowflakes light up and the delicate reindeer come to life as each detail was carved. Last but certainly not least, was an adorable snowman that made everyone smile. It was a wonderful experience for all.
Music in the Air
Learning to play an instrument can be very exciting. Whether strumming a guitar, striking a bar on a xylophone, tapping a drum, or pressing piano keys, many of our students enjoy taking music lessons. Annual concerts and talent shows provide them with opportunities to perform before a live audience. Our hope is that they will develop a true appreciation for all kinds of music that will last forever.
